These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

First of all, sorry I was out of the coverage area due to finals and all that jazz. I'll be through with them by next tuesday hopefully. In the meantime, for the sake of updating, Anony tagged me to post a picture of my favorite thing. So ladies and gents, I present to you: My pearl earrings. 

I wore them since the beginning of 9th grade. Fast forward 7 years and I still have them. I wear them everyday. Because I got used to them, I forget to take them off when I sleep, shower, swim, you name it. Anyway, so I never take them off and I've been wearing them for 2555 days and counting :) 

This tag got me in a Sound of Music mood. I suddenly have this urge to watch it again. I love the song. 

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad
