I don't like it when men say that women are bad drivers. I may agree that some women may really be bad drivers but that doesn't necessarily make us all bad when it comes to driving. What I'm presenting here are merely facts that support my theory on why women are also good drivers, not better, but good.

In their study, it shows that men break more traffic laws than women. Because these laws are designed to make the roads safer for people, by violating them men are causing more accidents and damages. It's also a known fact that men are reckless drivers and by reckless, we mean speeding, tibitwin (lol how is it translated?), etc... so being reckless makes you more prone to get into car accidents. Being reckless means having to put off your safety and the safety of others around you on the line.
Knowing how to drive does not make you a good driver alone. Being safe is what makes you a good driver. Not wearing your seat belt makes you a bad driver. Taking risks on the road makes you a bad driver and will only make you more likely to get into serious crashes.
Women are better drivers statistically because we're safe. Even if we do get into car accidents, they're minor compared to accidents caused by men. We're not better in driving, we're just safer and that makes us better drivers than you. Though I also admit that some women can be reckless too.
Men, before you comment, ask yourselves this: Statistically speaking, how come most car accidents were caused by men? How many accidents lead to the death of others by men? How come men get involved in accidents that always end up serious?
So I'm sorry but I don't see anything that reads "men are better drivers"
It's time to admit it. You're just not. You kill people on the road because of your reckless behaviors thinking that you're good drivers. Also, do explain to me how we've lost brothers and sons due to car accidents but rarely sisters and daughters? Not just in Kuwait, but internationally as well.
P.S This doesn't apply to older men (35+) because I've come to the realization that once men get older, they get more mature and they know better than to be stupid on the road.

There is no such thing as men are better drivers.. Gender does not dictate ones driving skills.. Most of the streets are filled with maniac drivers who are infact MEN.. still that doesn't make them bad drivers as you said not wearing your seatbelt makes you a reckless driver hence a bad one.. I think it depends on the person himself/herself if he/she are good but not on their gender..

totally agree with what you wrote, Men think they are better drives coz they have tricks that they can do with a car or how they can drive in small spaces in highspeed, etc.. Girls dont care about all this.. They just follow the road to reach to thier distination..

I couldn't agree more with what you've said. I absolutely HATE when men say women are terrible drivers, we aren't the ones causing huge accidents which involve death!! Men have so much self-esteem its terrible hehe.

I'm not going to pay much attention to some half-assed 'study' conducted by some company across the world in which the variables of their test most likely haven't been mentioned.
I believe what I see.
In Kuwait, men may drive more recklessly due to testosterone or to impress a girl or chase her for her number but at the same time, their control over their vehicle is far, far greater than that of a woman.
And God knows how many times have I seen women drive around on their cell-phone without so much as looking to their sides prior to taking a turn or entering a roundabout.
You may see more accidents on the road with men because they tend to be out on the road a lot more, using cars a lot more (drivers, bus drivers, taxi drivers, etc.) thus raising their stress/fatigue levels, and don't have to be home as early as women thus increasing their presence on the road at all times of the day.
Summary:
Men drive more recklessly due to testosterone and to impress/raqam women.
Women are partially to blame for the stupidity and reckless behavior of male drivers.
Women do not know how to drive nearly as well as men, men are more in tune with the mechanical aspects of their car as they are in tune with physical aspects.

I have nothing against female drivers ,, really, cuz I am (really) very polite with them when they get all crazy in the street, reason ? I always worry about my mum and sisters who might go crazy for a reason or another.
Regardless, when a woman makes a mistake ,, why is she angry ? for instance , i let her pass and i give her space and she does all kinds of hand waving you can imagine ,,
or another funny one was when i was singing in the morning ,, had luther vandross and barry white so i was in the mood while everybody was in battle mode to get from a to b ,, so a woman who is a total stranger with the worst facial expression at 7,30 am waved a sign that says open up your window ,, so i did and this is what went down :

I do agree that men have more control over their cars than women. But impressing a girl or chasing her is not an excuse to be reckless, it's still wrong and might lead the girl that is being chased to get in a car crash (just like what happened to a relative of mine)
I admit women may look ditzy on the road, and keep in mind that I am not saying women are better in driving, I'm just saying we are safer. And to every good side, there's a bad side, so yes I admit there are women who drive recklessly as well.

See the left lane has a maximum speeding limit which is 120. I'm usually on that lane and the maximum I go to is 140, but when I see a faster car coming behind me, I'd move.

ok joking aside, statistics released by insurance companies who want a reason to charge an extra amount for male drivers who are the majority of car owners is hardly a reliable source, in reality men and woman can equally be good or bad, it has nothing to do with gender
