I just have one question, what's wrong with men on the road? I speak for all the ladies out there when I say while driving, everything I do, every move I make, doesn't make it a sign for YOU to follow me. I can't blast the music in my car because guys will take as a sign to follow me and I for one love listening to music when it's on full volume, that's how I like it, so stop ruining it for me. Oh and why is it when I drive around, I look at the view around me, guys assume that I'm looking for them. Just because I'm a girl, I'm supposed to sit and look straight ahead without turning right or left? Why is it when I speed up while driving, guys think it's a sign for them to follow me, it's NOT, I'm just in a hurry! Why is it when me and my friend are talking and laughing, guys assume that it's us calling out for them, it's NOT!!
My conclusion is this: Ladies, if you want to reach your destination while driving without being harassed or followed, you are required to sit tight while looking straight ahead and don't you dare turn right or left, don't even tilt your head. You are to drive around without listening to music. You are to speed at a maximum rate of 80 km.
P.S I know that there are girls who actually do that to attract attention from men on the road, but I'm speaking for the girls who are the complete opposite of those.

I am one of those who sit tight and don't look left or right. I usually listen to soft music and samriat, yet I am guilty of speeding up. HOWEVER, all that doesn't seem to discourage those harassment attempts.

I used to be that self-conscious but after spending a part of my life abroad I came back to only blast the music and also dare I say sing along as if I was performing and my life depended on it.
I think that just scared everyone away. So enjoy your music and speed along :)

Friday mornings..from 7am to 9am you have the roads all for ur self, you can listen to music in full volume, enjoy the scenery, sing, dance, or even strip, this is how we bikers do it ;-)
God I hope it wont be that bad when I'm going to start driving(but I bet it will be exactly like that, I do live in Al Ain, after all it is where all bedwin just love to be in :S )

we used to face such things in the UAE bas now it is way much better, now i can dance with no one even thinking of looking at me. il7imdillah they are starting to think a bit wisely, especially when all you do is do whatever u want to do and IGNORE them. They keep u to urself
